Newquay and beyond...
There are many tourist attractions locally, including Crealy Adventure Park, Lappa Valley Railway and Dairyland. For those who like to get out into nature more, cliff walks along the stunning South West Coast Path, horse riding, kayaking and sea fishing are all available locally. A short drive or good walk along the coastal path that runs close to the house will bring you to Crantock, a quaint village with its own golden beach and dunes. Fistral Beach with it’s famous surf and beach culture is close by, as is Newquay with it’s many restaurants, shopping, a zoo, leisure centres, swimming and a working harbour. Watergate Bay, home to Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall restaurant is nearby and Padstow with many excellent eateries including Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant and excellent fish and chip shop is a short drive.
The Eden Project is an international visitor attraction with a difference, and not only because it’s in a hole in the ground. Their mission is to provide a stage on which they entertain and communicate both their work and that of others. Most importantly The Eden Project wants to give you a good day out by taking you on a journey that is memorable and inspiring.
Newquay Zoo is part of the Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust, along with Living Coasts and Paignton Zoo. All are conservation, research and education charities dedicated to the protection of animals, plants and their environments, both locally and internationally.
In addition, staff at Newquay Zoo play important roles in co-ordinating breeding programmes for endangered species conservation in line with the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) strategy. As part of this, Newquay Zoo collaborates with other zoos internationally: animals are moved between zoos to prevent inbreeding and ensure the maintenance of healthy genetic diversity.
Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen

Fifteen offers a unique blend of exceptional food, dedicated service and an opportunity to make a difference in young people’s lives.
What our satisfied guests say
“Beautiful house, great location”
Reviewed 15 Sep 2014
Great location overlooking the sand dunes at Holywell Bay in a very safe, quiet area, midway between Perranporth and Newquay. The house was clean and spacious and very well equipped. All beds were comfortable. The balcony was great for enjoying the evening sunshine. My only complaint is that I booked a week and I wished I'd booked a fortnight!!
